Huijing is interested in understanding the underlying mechanisms of complex biological systems. She received a Ph.D. in Computational Biology from the University of Kansas. She has been working on bacteria persistency and phenotype transition using multiscale nonlinear modeling, stochastic simulations, transcriptomics analysis, and image analysis. She also has experience in molecular biology experiments for E. coli and cancer cells. She is fond of machine learning recently.
Her hobbies are running and painting.
